Don’t Let FEAR Stop You From Going Into Business for Yourself!!

Prior to opening Excerebus CPA Firm, PLLC, I tried out many hairstylists to find the right person for my “go to” stylist (you know how exhausting that can be!).  In one salon, a young lady colored my hair and we were engaging in casual conversation.  She told me about her family, especially her daughter, and then shared how she got into cosmetology and the dreams she had before entering cosmetology school.  I inquired if she would one day open her own salon.  Her response startled me!  She said “NO, it’s was too confusing”!

Even though she had such wonderful aspirations for her future, she couldn’t overcome the small obstacle of learning new things.  I asked her what she meant by it being “too confusing” and she responded by telling me how the task of keeping up with employee paperwork, taxes and inventory might be too much.  I was saddened to hear that someone would give up on a dream when this one obstacle could be outsourced.

Outsourcing has become a negative word in our society considering that in 2016 more than 1.4 million jobs were outsourced overseas (http://www.statisticbrain.com/outsourcing-statistics-by-country/).  However, many small business owners outsource various financial tasks to local CPA Firms so that they can focus on their business and making money.  This allows a business owner to stay competitive in the marketplace.  Entrepreneur Magazine stated that the “5 Things Small Businesses Should Outsource” are:

  1. Content Marketing
  2. Bookkeeping
  3. Payroll
  4. Conversion Optimization
  5. Scheduling and Administrative Tasks

This young lady inspired me to focus my business on the personal care industry, because if she felt this way, then there must be others that feel this way too!  Excerebus CPA Firm is here to help you every step of the way.

Don’t give up on your DREAMS!
